Help I’m having a panic attack
I’m scared so bad rn I feel like I might commit . There was a trans girl on TikTok and I thought she was attractive and I’m scared because she’s trans. Is that gay I don’t wanna be gay and now I’m freaking out. It was a guy transitioned into a girl and they don’t look like a guy at all.
I don’t think it’s gay because she identifies as a woman.
Come up with whatever reasoning you want, your OCD is never gonna accept a definitive answer for any obsession. NEVER. There’s no point looking for certainty about what you did or didn’t find attractive because for OCD that doesn’t exist. I know it’s super tough but maybe try “well if she’s trans and I found her attractive maybe that makes me non-straight and maybe it doesn’t”. These are the responses that will get OCD to calm down. :)
This post is seeking reassurance and you know that's not good for your OCD. I have attached a couple videos about SO-OCD from a therapist who is FANTASTIC at explaining all things OCD. Dude it's not gay, some trans women do look extremely feminine, and our brains will register it as a female because that's how the brain works . It's not gay if you don't want to engage on it. Don't go looking for answers just live your life as you would if you don't want to have a relationship with a trans woman than don't have it thoughts are just thoughts they do not control us no matter how scary they are. @Viny I don’t wanna be with anyone else. I have a girlfriend of six months that I have like and chased for so long and I don’t wanna lose her. I’m scared that the thoughts will ruin my feelings and relationship with her.
@Anonymous 224 Take a deep breath. Nothing will happen because it's OCD and it's all fake my friend. Right now you should focus on calming down.
@Viny Ur right. I took a nap and had a little dream and it was a gay dream and I woke up with anxiety. But what helped me was that when I woke up I wasn’t erect or nothing. Normally when I have a dream of having sex with a woman in my dream I wake up turned on
@Anonymous 224 - Usually when I have dreams like this, it's always non-consensual (I was r***), so I wake up in a panic too. Dreams don't really mean anything and if your body reacts it also doesn't imply consent or that you want something.
I’m a gay guy and I always felt different, but in a gay way, you know. I’ve never questioned my gender identity and I always felt in the right body. But since I saw the instagram profile of a trans girl, I can’t stop thinking “what if I’m trans?”. Literally I think about this the HOLE DAY and I always look for evidence that I’m or not trans. And the worse thing is that as a gay guy I’ve done things or liked things which are stereotypically for girls. This thought gave me panic attacks, anxiety and stress during all the day. I’m scared and confused because my mind keeps telling me that there’s should be something and for some reason I thought about it. It’s like my brain has been replaced during this month. I just want to go back in time and be the happy guy that I was before, I miss my life.
trigger warning maybe so idk who knows andrea russett but she’s a youtuber and she just posted a video coming out saying she’s bisexual and it triggered me soooo much. like i’m so scared that i am when i literally have never felt attraction to a girl at all like that. any time i think a girl is pretty i automatically jump to that conclusion now. and i always have to check and look at her butt to see if i’m attracted to it. like social media makes it all worse too. i almost do it out of habit now which makes me hate myself for it bc i’m mistaking it w attraction but when i try to tell myself it’s just ocd my brain tries to twist it into thinking that i’m actually bi!!! it just sucks and i’m so stressed about it
I’m having a panic attack right now. I’m talking to a cute boy and my mind is telling me I’m not attracted to him and I’m attracted to girls. I want to be with a guy. But what if I’m into girls and I have internal homophobia. I don’t want to be gay because it’s not something I believe in. I feel the need to come out. I want to be into men like I was. I hate this living like this is such a waste. I literally don’t want to be here. I’m at work and I’m freaking out
