Because it’s sexual content. Our brains are designed to enjoy it. When you have a thought, your brain only identifies the sexual nature in it and then registers your true likes and dislikes after the fact.

Do you ask yourself if you’re gay or straight 1000 times a day bc I do and I can’t stand it. This will just come out of nowhere and I tell myself I don’t care but to Doesn’t stop. I’m a mom and a wife and am so in love with my husband and only attracted to men but what’s keeping me stuck when I was a teen and college I was into lesbian porn for a minute but who cares anything sexual did it for me and I wouldn’t want to watch that now anyway but my brain can’t let that go

@flippy15 Oh girl, watching lesbian porn is so normal. We’re all a little gay, but it doesn’t mean you’re not straight. It’s normal to question it with OCD, but I’ve never really had this question bc I deal with POCD.

@flippy15 Oh I watch lesbian porn all the time, it doesn’t affect me in anyway, but OCD centers around your biggest fear, so since I don’t really fear being gay or anything, ocd doesn’t attack that.

@flippy15 Did you grow up in an extremely religious household? Because religion isn’t bad, but it does have an effect on the way we feel guilt from things we believe are sinful and this causes a lot of unnecessary shame and guilt.

@Dreamer2343 No it wasn’t around religion I think it is it confused me and I forgot about it until this all started. My dad and uncle are gay which also I think is my obsession like are there gay genes in me I don’t know about. It’s beyond stupid
