I am scared I might die within the next few days

I'm currently living through a massive health scare with really scary symptoms. I am scared I might have an aneurysm due to my symptoms but despite that the doctor's don't think it's urgent. I have some test scheduled but I will have to wait weeks for some of them. I don't know how to get through this knowing I could die any moment. I live in constant terror ever since those symptoms started. I can't function. Can anyone here please help me with this??? I don't know what to do?

I can feel my pulse in different parts of my body and hear a thumping sound in my ears

@Anonymous - That is a classic symptom of an anxiety response. keep in mind Doctors are trained to recognise the symptoms. Which, btw, aneurysms typically don't give warning sings, usually they happen so fast, you are deceased before you hit the ground. not trying to sound morbid but its true. WHEN they actually do have symptoms, its debilitating, crippiling headache, double vision, vomiting, and they only occur for a few minutes max while it is rupturing, then they stop... because you typically pass away. SO, you don't have aneurysm symptoms you have anxiety symptoms.

I'm so sorry you have been dealing with this , i can suggest you to calm down and try to distract yourself Yes You could have symptons but if the doctor doesnt tell you something concrete it's better if You wait for your exams ,sometimes our anxiety and stress can make our bodies funtion in awful ways . But it could also be a sickness ,however maybe it's not what You think it is and something way different. It's Best to not jump to conclusions and wait , i know its easier to Say than done but try to distract yourself doing stuff You like ,watching videos maybe or solving puzzles ,stuff that keeps your mind occupied

Keep in mind that if you anxiety is high it can often mimic all sorts of symptoms! Panic raises your blood pressure and can absolutely bring on headaches and a sense of your pulse there. It's hard to sit with the idea of a serious health issue, but try to keep in mind that you're doing everything you should do over a health concern. The fear and anxiety is only going to make you feel less like yourself, and you risk getting stuck in a pretty unpleasant feedback loop. And that in itself isn't good for your health! So try to relax and by kind to yourself. (One of my previous fears was an aortic aneurysm... turns out I have nothing of the sort.)

Anyone going through the same thing?

So anxiety wise I had been doing so well. I wasn’t as bad as I had been in the past. My ocd stems from the fear of going crazy or developing schizophrenia. About 2 weeks ago I had something odd happen where I woke up and was getting ready for work and I had been seeing this zig zag thing in my eyes and then I couldn’t talk or type anything everything was jumbled. My boyfriend realized and I was able to tell him we need to go to the hospital. In the car on the way to the hospital I started feeling tingling in my right arm that spread to my fingertips. The whole time this has been happening I have a headache that I would score 2/10 nothing crazy. At the time I wasn’t sure if I had insurance or not but was under the impression I didn’t because I had just quit my part time job and was working PRN, I got stroke alerted at the hospital and they did a CTA and EKG and everything came back negative. The doctors told me they recommended an MRI to rule out a TIA but they didn’t think that it was one due to my age etc. due to the fact that I thought I didn’t have insurance I turned it down. The following day I was able to get my PCP to order me one and figured out my insurance situation and got the MRI done which also came back negative. My anxiety now is that what if I did have a TIA (mini stroke) and it’s just not showing on a scan because they self resolve so sometimes they don’t show up. What is worrying me is I’m not taking anything because they don’t think it was a TIA and they believe it was a complex migraine. I’m so anxious all the time hyper aware of every symptom I have. It’s been almost 2 weeks and I’m just so scared all the time.

I am so scared and alone.

Hi everyone. So recently I have been feeling so scared and paranoid of going crazy. I am terrified of i will go crazy and turn schizo. I’m so hyper aware of everything. My mind convinces me that I will end up like this but I really don’t want to.It’s my biggest fear and I think abt it almost everyday and I can’t handle it anymore. I just want to be ok. I have told my parents this and they say it’s all in my head and just laugh at me. I know it’s in my head but I physically feel sick to my stomach being constantly scared. Please someone help me please please. Thank you.

crying eyes out pls reply

I am so so upset and anxious right now. At this point I badly need reassurance as Im feeling a whole panic attack coming on. Has anyone ever had the feeling in their head and body like they are actually going to act on a terrible harm related intrusive thought like it actually feels like you are. Im scared as fuck i dont know what to do because What if i actually do that i am so scared does it ever feel like your on the edge of doing it and you get this whole intrusive urge in your body PLEASE REPLY please tell me experiences
