You deserve happiness. No guilt it's a part of your past you're allowed to feel at least a little something. Deep breathe. Positive thinking of how far you've come and how happy you are in this present time. You got this

Do you think it’s my ocd latching on and ruining things? Or is what I’m feeling normal idk anymore

@tasha123 I think it is your ocd latching on. I find it aswell when I'm actually happy itll find things to ruin it or even if I dont care about something initially itll find things to make me care or pay attention

First off I want to say I’m so so so sorry you are going through this, I truly can relate and it’s so sad that OCD gets in the way of enjoying your life and relationships. I currently am going through a relapse similar to this. I can tell you that you can find help and it’s through not seeking re assurance and giving in to the compulsion- week help from a trained professional- or at least a family member or friend who will give you the support you need that won’t feed the OCD. So so hard, but your worth it And you can do it!

Thank you! It’s just so annoying how my happiness can get destroyed by one little trigger. I worked so hard to get to where I am and i don’t want to be miserable again

@tasha123 Your preaching fo the choir, it sucks. And I truly am so sorry. It is such a lonely place to be and you are allowed to be mad. I currently am in the same boat although the relationship that was good ended up ending and I’m crushed and having a hard time getting over it. I feel like why can’t I finally get peace and a happy relationship. Remind yourself- just because you have a thought such as- “I feel miserable now therefore I will be miserable forever no matter what.” DOES NOT make it truth. That helps me when I’m going through a tough time.
