does it happen to you that you suddenly have the urge to look at the trigger on purpose (for me it makes me look at pictures and look for facial expressions that associate me with sex) people, pictures, something...? Always when I do it, it's like I deliberately imagine something sexual about it, and if there's no reaction, I imagine it until I get it? ??? What am I doing anymore?
And yes u are not alone but don't lose hope..
@Anonymous so we don't know what we get those topics. I guess because that's the last thing we would like to be, and fear makes us get all those feelings and it seems so real, but when the brain gets used to it, we don't even recognize it anymore... we simply have to learn to separate it from ourselves, and that's what's difficult..

@Anonymous I have a therapist, but he can't do much. I simply have to do my part alone and honestly it's hard for me.. It's hard for me not to believe that it's not me but OcD..

Yes I have that, also in Social situations when I‘m afraid of eye contact but I keep looking
@nyx32 really?? oh i have that too. What triggers your gaze? I have the feeling that if I look into their eyes, it seems to "seduce" or attract me, and it crosses my mind "what if that person thinks/or wants the same thing" I don't always look, but sometimes I look because it's not normal not to look
@Anonimus ME 🦋 For me there are many different aspects to this. I either think they think I’m flirting or that I’m weird and looking for too long or when it’s a parent that they think I want something from their child and the list goes on
@nyx32 yes, a million feelings that don't even have a name... I'm afraid that I'm going to initiate something with that... and this looking at the photos is the same terrible thing
@Anonimus ME 🦋 I’m sorry that you’re also going through it but at the same time it helps to know I’m not alone. Do you get socially anxious? I do very much because of these things
@nyx32 so yes, when I need to see my sister or where there are a lot of children, I'm never comfortable, especially since all kinds of pictures pop up and everything is a trigger for me... but I don't avoid it... Honestly, it's a lot easier for me too when I know I'm not alone and if it's terribly difficult for me that we're going through this... and I'm sorry... because I know how beautiful our days are, gray colored...
The thing is I am stuck in this same loop. Unfortunately. We need certainty that's all but it is backfiring.. And the bloody thing is that it feels so REAL for god sake..

Only thing that i will say is that dont lose hope.. When I first got OCD during my childhood. I had intense anxiety and because of that I had to change my mindset a little bit from civilian mindset to military mindset.. I used to watch them fighting and their mindset was so bold that I adopted that.. now that I'm going through HOCD which I feel is the worst ocd for me.. I'm using the same techniques to counter it.. I'm still not acccepting anything.. I'm being uncertain until I find help.
@Anonymous I have incest ocd for a very long time sometimes and pocd.. although I know that everyone has their own theme the worst... Thanks, sometimes I really lose hope and feel like I can't get out of it... I also hope you'll succeed, remember how you got out the first time, if you've been there once you'll do it again!
@Anonimus ME 🦋 My older themes were not this strong. This one is something different.. I am losing from it and it causes me tremendous anxiety.. Bcos I'm not gonna lie. I hated that community.. Maybe bcos of that I got Hocd

Ah just leave it. What I'm trying to say if u live in USA. Then u have lot of options. But unfortunately for me I live abroad and I have to go another country to get myself treated.

today's exposure exercise. I look at the face of a person I have sexual thoughts about and I feel that as soon as I can connect that face with sex I am attracted to it, and I feel like I can touch my self on sexual way while looking at that face, and I can imagine it and get it as an urge..it seems like I am stopping myself because it is horrible, not that I don't want to... I get stuck a lot with this and I don't know how to get out...I can't...
And what is happening...let's say I come across a video of that person and then I stop the part where it triggers me and I deliberately imagine images of a sexual type, and if I don't feel anything, I look again, as if I want it or I have the urge to imagine it, i.e. I feel the need, and if I feel something or get a feeling in my groin and I feel like I fall into despair?
