I cannot enjoy shi in this world bro

Another reason why I'm not so sure if I should step away from religion is watching certain shows like Hazbin hotel because I have a favorite character and it's Alastor!!! I heard that they had a Jesus character comming up in season 2 and I did not like that cause I'm like i guess Christan or I believe in Jesus Christ and have religious based beliefs. Like I didn't like Adam cause if you seen season 1 he's pretty bad. But I like the other characters. And I think people might be getting the show mixed up. But my point is here that I feel like I shouldn't be watching this show cause people have been saying the show is blasphemy and I do not wanna commit that religious or not. I just don't wanna do that period. Like I love alastor's character but the other characters always seem to be making hell like a good place but its not!!! In every religion hell is usually seen as bad. I know it's just a tv show but I just cannot help with the thoughts. And I don't know if I should even have a favorite character from this show.

I know how you feel. I have these struggles too. Honestly, if you feel the conviction that’s probably your sign of what you should do already. I get it though…if you’re like me your issue is deciphering whether or not what you’re feeling is true conviction from The Spirit or your own shame-based obsession/compulsion. It’s a daily journey. But if the feeling is so overwhelming I would say follow your conviction…it’s probably THE FATHER trying to protect you!

@🎀🧸🩷🤍 I don’t know the show personally. I would say it depends…like if it has HEAVY witchcraft and magic and all of that..I would say no. But if it’s just “dark humor” I would say I don’t personally think that is a bad thing

@there’s always time ❤️ There are horror movies/shows that show all that like AHS and I love AHS but I'm okay with like if it shows how bad like the devil it is... that's why I was actually concerned about Hazbin hotel cause the main character kinda make hell seem like a good place but at the end of the day it's just an animated tv show in my opinion. So I'm sorry but you're really not helping my thoughts here😭🥲

I'm only responding because I'm a huge fan of Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. I don’t have Religious OCD, so I can’t fully understand what that experience is like, but at the end of the day, these shows are for entertainment. They aren’t asking you to agree with premise or not. ( A premise could just be a cool idea.) Watching them doesn’t mean you agree with everything they portray and besides any message you think the show is making is ultimately just your interpretation of it. Think of it this way…a certain premise or theme can make you uncomfortable or anxious , but if you know it goes against your values, you could probably watch it without the doubt. If it causes doubt and the doubt is what causes the anxiety, that’s likely more about the OCD itself and that’s something worth addressing with proper support.

I love horror movies and would watch them random sometimes even Terrifier cause art is my new favorite character. I just felt like I was a bad person for this⁉️ I don’t support his actions but I like his goofy faces he makes. I can’t enjoy anything no more Literally me rn in life

I feel like a hater

Please don’t judge until you read this I have religious beliefs and I want to understand the lgbt community but my beliefs is that being lgbt is a lustful sin and I don’t like it. I have been trying to tell people I’m not trying be mean it’s just what I read in the Bible and what I believe. But I’m not gonna kick my friends out if they were to come out at any point. And I’m not trying to spread my beliefs but it is also my calling as a Christian to spread the gospel as well but I do believe that you can still be saved even if you’re lgbt if you believe in god but I worry about that because my god doesn’t want people to keep sining over and over again and I love people but I hate how they don’t understand me. So I just try and pray for them and hope they understand. I feel horrible so I never know if I want to go back to god or not.

I feel soooo guilty

Is this pocd? OCD?? Please no judgement!! This has been on going for years and I want the thoughts to stop and enjoy anime again :( not the other way around I used to love pride from an anime fmab (full metal alchemist brotherhood) when I was 14-15. And I feel so guilty because he took the form of a kid cause he’s a villain who can disguise himself and possess. I never liked the kid but more personality. I don’t think I NEVER EVER had romantic attraction to the body. I feel so gross talking about this as I’m older now and know what this is. The thing is Pride the homunculus character is ancient years old but his disguise is 10 years old and they have the same height but Pride is literally just a shadow with eyes and mouths in in the general lore of the anime. I do not like him now. As I got older I stopped liking him. Not in a sxual way even at all but just in general but my brain is making me think I like him or I used to in just a sxual way or ftish type of way but I DO NOT!! Idc I just feel disgusting. And I don’t want to have him as a favorite character anymore. How can I explain this to a therapist?! Any advice? No judgement please.
