Thats funny my name is adam same here POCD. This app is helpful but try to give positive feedback to othere and work together just to talk and stuff. Some people do exposures on here its good and all to relate but u know the drill with exposures its that constant battle with the OCD CIRCLE so i try to keep it to a minimum, and motivate othera in hence i motivate myself and usually learn from others because we all have ocd so its pritty cool in that way where one big family lol . But all prayers go to u brothha for downloading the app. We are here to work together to defeat OCD lets do it and live life with peace and not waiate any more life we waisted!?

Hey, I appreciate the quick response! I’ll try to just not think about it too much, I really wanted to get it off my chest tho. Feels good to talk to people who understand as well. Seems like us Adams think a bit alike, I also feel like I want to find a person with a bit more experience involving these things so I don’t just waste time or anything. I do feel a little bit rude when asking for help cus I’m actually doing fine, but talking to people helps clear my head a bit. I usually like drawing or playing guitar, it keeps my mind off things. And btw, thanks dude! I will keep going, hope you’re doing good too! ????

Yes of course man this is what this apps about and yeah try to distract ur self with hobbies and stuff it helps for a me alot.

It might be hocd but i will definitely go ask a councelor and do ERP which is therapy for ocd and worka wonders for people. I myself haven't tried it but have to link up and find a counselor still. Im looking for a good one because alot of councelors dont have a lot of time experienced with this and i want somebody that has so i dont waist my time or theirs. ?

Try letting the thought pass and just go on about ur day i know its hard but honestly its the best thing to do is not to do exposures or compulsions because it will get worse so just try and do anytjing really. Watch a movie, talk on the phone, mediate, look at a crayon and think about all the colors ANYTHING else except exposures and compulsions worse thing to do u will get in a ocd loop and think about it all day. It hard and challenging but i wish i had this information 3 yeara ago when i did not know what it was
