I really hope for us to get out of this sotuation. I hope God saves me, I hope to be in a better place... Dear Jesus, please take me under you guard and protection, save me from myself and from sinning and temptation. Give me strenght, peace and happiness. I dont know how to pray anymore, but I make this my prayer right now.

Sometimes we don’t know how to pray or we feel like we can’t. And that is okay! Paul’s writes about this in Romans 8:26: “Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.” As a believer (which I am assuming you are based off of your mentioning of Jesus. But if not please forgive me. My only intention is to help, not hurt.) when our minds are too weak to pray or even make clear what we are trying to say, the Holy Spirit cries out to God for help on our behalf. He hears you, and He sees you. We may not understand His timing but remember He is the only one capable of seeing the big picture. God bless and Happy Easter!

Wow I never knew so many believers struggled with OCD ( not that believing in Jesus sets you apart from being human) but I resonate with what everyone is saying here. I feel since I’ve dove into my OCD to get therapy, I am going back on prayers & times of ministering to people & discounting those times, but nothing we can ever do or say or think will take away the victory Jesus has over death! We have a “like-mind” and are made in His image. ??

Thank you for saying that. Feel alone. I know some big theological leaders historically have struggled. But it just doesn't take away my guilt and shame. Certain scriptures have thrown me into a tizzy. Thank u for responding

Please remember that God puts us through troubling times to strengthen us. A sword cannot be a sword without a forge. We are all in this together ??

Wow! It’s difficult to see the mountain that can often be OCD without ever seeing a way over it, but many times I’ve realized the point I’m at now in my life is what I prayed/hoped for in terms of community, job, living situation, and He has faithfully brought me to this very day before me, so won’t He do it again? ??❤️

Also, I would reccomend seeking out the NOCD therapy. I’m just beginning and there’s an anticipation around what the process will look like, but I’m confident the only way is to go through the uncertainty, knowing there are better days ahead than any we leave behind.
