This sounds like the depressive states I go through where there isn't anything specific but I just feel horrible. It's usually because A. I recently was fighting my OCD hard and I'm exhausted or B. I'm believing what it says and I'm depressed. Just love yourself. Be patient with yourself and do things you enjoy. The feeling will pass. Do NOT indulge OCD by doing a brain scan to see what's wrong. That's a compulsion and will make it last longer.

You’re right I’m gonna do this!! Those are the reasons I feel sort of down but I guess I’ll pick myself back up and not give in or give up

Can you explain more? I feel like I understand where you are coming from but is it that the intrusive thoughts aren’t bothering you anymore or something else?

Yea the intrusive thoughts aren’t bothering me and I feel scared but no anxious. It’s just a really weird feeling I guess and I don’t know what to do about them. I am scared I have accepted the thoughts as true.

@takingmylifeback What is the difference between scared and anxious? Excuse me for this if it was not suitable to ask here and now

@Bisho I guess anxious is when my heart races and I can non stop think about the thought that is bothering me as for scared is that when the thought comes I don’t feel anxiety and my thoughts go to “you have accepted you are gay now everything is going to change” so I fear that this thought is true for me and will be like this forever

@takingmylifeback Hi there, let me take some weight off your shoulders, the reasons why the thoughts aren’t bothering you is because after so much time your brain has spent thinking and obsessing over them, it comes to a point in which your mind no longer has the anxious effects that it had in the beginning, don’t worry you’re not gay, it’s that after the same thoughts repeating every day, the anxiety has gone down and it’s giving you the false feeling that you’re accepting them. I hope you have a great night and try to give yourself a little break now and then. Goodnight:)

@stars it’s no problem remember that OCD will always try to get it’s ways, it’s about you trying to find the logic behind it and not let it rule your life.

Remember your feelings are being controlled. Try to ignore it and force yourself to something that you enjoy doing
