Aw thank you!! There’s still a teeny part of me that’s afraid Im just denying my ‘true feelings’ but I know deep down I’m not. Finally feeling happy and hopeful !!!??

@mm0122 Thing is tho like 3 days ago I knew for certain that these thoughts meant nothing and that I was always gonna be straight, but now these thoughts feel even more real like I’m in denial

@frghtfdfh We’re all going to have good days and bad days with ocd, but on the bad days try your best to remind yourself of the good. Go for a walk, do some hobbies you enjoy and just remind yourself they are only thoughts. They have no power over you until you decide to give them power

@mm0122 100% agree. We’re not going to let these thoughts control our lives. We r gonna fight through this and focus on what really matters, on our goals, our aspirations, our ambitions. We won’t let hocd get in the way of us enjoying life and our future

Mine came from a porn addiction and looking at bi porn- my hocd went then came back do u have any advice

Just remind yourself it left once and it can leave again :) try to not react to the thoughts in a way where you keep checking yourself. Accept that you have the thoughts and that they make you uncomfortable, but that they don’t need to have any meaning in your life if you don’t give them the power to :)

@frghtfdfh I don’t want to reassure you because reassurance only provides temporary relief. But if it isn’t something you want to pursue and if it makes you uncomfortable then there’s no need for you to look for deeper meaning in it

@frghtfdfh Just remember that how you react to the thoughts is in your control, you put the meaning behind them. If you don’t want them to have any meaning, try not to attach emotion to the thoughts

@frghtfdfh Try to stop checking, I know it’s hard I’ve been where you are but the harder you try at the techniques that work, the more power you’ll hold over your thoughts.
