Same here. Life has so much to offer which is a hard thing to remember sometimes when dealing with Suicidal OCD where the brain is running with suicide constantly it becomes so bloody tiring. Just trying to come to grips with having OCD and work my way out of this S-OCD rut.

Mine worsened to the point of constancy but are getting better I think. OCD uses whatever evidence it can find as proof. I’m calm, must be suicidal. I’m happy, must be suicidal. I’m sad, must be suicidal. Mostly mental compulsions as well, just rumination and trying to think things away. And the depression that comes with it is very rough. It comes and goes sometimes several times during a day, but very easy to feel really dark and depressed when your brain has suicide and depression on a loop. Starting ERP shortly. Meditation and mindfulness has helped I think. And not asking for reassurance and not cancelling plans has done a lot as well. The unaltered path. The plans I make when I’m feeling great are the plans I stick to when I feel like screaming and being depressed all day. Do things that happy and well people do and you’ll find yourself closer to being happy and well.

A long long one. Well I don't have suicide-themed OCD (at least not anymore? Idk if I ever had it) but I've definitely hit those low points in my life especially during the last two years ever since my OCD has flared up

Yes I am! It made a lot of sense when I realized it was the OCD that was making me feel that way, that I didn't actually want to do that. I love life so much, despite how incredibly difficult it is. How about you?

Also I only tend to get that way during extreme OCD-stress coupled with monthly hormonal changes. That's when I reach my lowest points ever. But now that I know that, I can do things to prevent it a little bit

I got panic attacks in 2013 and developed ocd during those years. Got diagnosed back in 2015. How long have you had it?

And I guess I’ve had it to some degree forever, but only in a life altering way in the last few years. Only now I’ve discovered that it’s OCD and I’m not a lunatic.

For me suicidal OCD and Harm OCD are inextricably linked. Suicide OCD is just my wild harm thoughts turned toward myself instead of others. I don’t have extreme rumination like some of you are expressing.

I have also dealt with the same thing Jackieboy! It makes me so afraid that I start to worry that I’m depressed. I will also come and go for me throughout the day and it’s so frustrating. I’ll feel good and then I’ll get triggered and start ruminating. I’ve noticed that when I’m near others I feel better. I do ERP and meditation as well and believe they are helping me!
