I just deleted Reddit. I am shaking from anxiety. Most comments were so good and I felt good and then one comment I started overthinking or I didn’t like the wording. OMG never again.

I'd recommend staying away from unmonitored forums. At least here there's some accountability.

I found a sugar baby forum on reddit where women and men talk about their experiences and I made a post about my trauma on the sugar daddy site. Most people were comforting and then others just made me feel bad by saying here is a lesson to newbies on these sites not to do this, or “don’t ever give out your personal info to these daddies unless your sure because ruined reputation is harder to recover from than emotional trauma” or something like that. So when I read that I don’t see it as advice for newbies I read it as they are saying my reputation is ruined and I should be worried.

@Anxiousgirl Reddit would be great if people didn't abuse it. Being able to say something anonymously has its value. However, given the way too many people act, it's not a good place for OCD sufferers in particular. You're going to come across any and all viewpoints and not all are valid. OCD is going to pick up on anything it can use to hurt you.

i once looked up my fears on reddit to see if anyone had anything to say. it was a compulsion, but i didn’t know back then. i saw people who confessed, and others made them feel horrible. i was scarred from that.. and now every time mentions reddit, or if i see a reddit post, i get anxiety and i feel sick.
