I’m in no place to dx you or anything but OCD can come and go in waves. mine tend to be smaller - a few good weeks followed by a hell week but some people can randomly go into ‘remission’ for years. it sounds like OCD to me and if it’s lead to serious consequences for you i would highly reccomend talking to your therapist about it x

also yes ocd obsessions can change all the time and i have GAD and OCD so that too is completely possible and - dare i say - pretty common. i’m sorry it all got so overwhelming for you but i hope that now you have a bit more insight you can treat it ❤️

Thanks! I have always gone to therapy for anxiety and she has been the first one to ever mention ocd to me, so I blew it off at first just because I didn’t know a lot about it.

I would say just learn about it and see... Could be OCD, or maybe you'll find another thing that fits you better.
