I see you shifting into self compassion mode. You're validating your emotions. That's a good thing. There is zero reason to feel guilty for having unpleasant emotions. Its good that you were able to rein in your actions enough to not hurt yourself or anyone else. It's important to recognize that. You do deserve credit. And, assuming that you're ten-ish or older, tantrums where you're hitting, kicking, and ripping paper aren't generally acceptable. That's not a healthy or typical way for older children, teens, or adults to express frustration. Bottling up your emotions isn't healthy, but neither is this. I hope that your parents and teachers are able to see the tantrum as a sign that you need more support, and not as just "bad behavior". If they're not stepping up to help you, I recommend asking them for help. You might be able to loop another trusted adult, like a school counselor, a coach, or a pastor into the conversation to support you in asking for the support you deserve.

I’m actually 19, I never really get angry or express anger and I was very fed up with my college math class at the time.

@Raee Ok, my mistake I assumed you were a minor. In this case, you can't rely on other people to access help for you. You already accessed support for yourself by using this app. Professional help would be the next step. Personally, i think of therapy as an investment in myself and my future.

@Raee Do they offer teletherapy? There's some downsides to it, but it's better than nothing. And there's even some benefits. Being in your natural environment can give your therapist a chance to coach you through situations that are more realistic
