Anxiety can lead to gastrointestinal issues. Here's a link to read morehttps://www.verywellmind.com/gastrointestinal-gi-symptoms-and-anxiety-disorders-2584240 I can see how distressing this is to you. I wouldn't be surprised if you're tempted to avoid going to school. It's really important to keep going. Once we start avoiding something, it reinforces our fears. The longer we avoid, the harder it is to go back. I missed roughly four months of ninth grade because I was "too anxious" to go to school one day, and that just expanded into months. Is your school this year in person or online?

@Ocdscary I see. There's not much time to make a game plan. What's the norm in your school about asking to use the restroom or go to the water fountain during class? What's the follow up for the possible gluten insensitivity?

@Ocdscary What are the barriers to going gluten free at home? Ok, so you'll probably have to stay in class. Have people commented when you've passed gas before?

@Ocdscary Ok, I'm sorry to hear that they are so rude. I guess holding it it is probably the best option. At least you have proof that you're capable of doing that
