First of all I think your very brave. It’s not easy to even hint to someone about this sort of issue. I also sufffer from what I believe to be POCD and intrusive thoughts, it’s really not nice is it, it makes you feel like the worst type of person and that your not meant to be happy, but I assure you, you deserve happiness just as much as anyone else. I would say to seek help for it, I went and spoke to my GP, it really wasn’t easy to do, but he then referred me to a mental health place, he didn’t judge me in any way. I’m glad I’ve told people and got help. You can get through this I promise you, you tell people when you feel ready, and if they’re your true freind or partner, they will educate themselves on it and understand. But remember you also don’t have to explain yourself to anyone. This is a mental health issue, and there is help out there, reach out for it, you deserve to be happy!

i worry about sharing too because i dont want people to think im a horrible person. i think youre really brave and the fact that you opened up even just that little bit is a huge step in the right direction! hang in there!
