@Alexanderiajade Nice! Congratulations. I have a one year old daughter. Is it pocd that you struggle with primarily?

@Freemeofocd It has been POCD for the last two months. Now it’s intrusive thoughts that I don’t love my kids. Which is killing me and I’m constantly arguing with myself. I still struggle with pocd but now that getting a little better, these thoughts have started. What about you? Do you get those thoughts too?

Mine is primarily POCD. I have experienced every theme in the book, but for the past 2 months it’s centered on this particular theme. It sucks. It’s horrible when it attacks what you love the most.

I’m new to OCD. My OCD started I think right before I got pregnant and then I found out I was pregnant in the end of August and I was going off the deep end. My OB put me on Prozac to help with my depression but it hasn’t been two weeks yet. I just feel disconnected and just miserable. When the Pocd theme started I lost my shit. I then realized it was ocd. Before I had the fear of death and going to hell. Which I didn’t know it was ocd at the time. I desperately wish to go back to who I was before this. Every time I get an intrusive thought about my daughter I go find her and tell her I love her, which I’m pretty sure is turning into a compulsion. It’s like a never ending wave of bullshit in my head. Are you in therapy or anything?

@Momof2 I’m 24 years old and had a pretty happy life before this shit happened to me. Now I have a feeling I’m never going to be truly happy again. 🥺

I'm a new mom of a 6 week old, and I've been dealing with pocd for a while but when I was on Prozac it was virtually non existent. Then I got pregnant and felt like a new person and didn't need it (was also told not to take that particular med while pregnant). The last 4 months of my pregnancy were really hard OCD wise and it was all the themes, which I've also dealt with my entire life. Just know you aren't alone and no matter what the OCD tells you, you are a good person and you would never hurt your children in anyway. Also, prepare yourself for the first few weeks after birth as the OCD can get pretty intense, so make sure you are taking your meds if you can, and have a good support system to help because the sleep deprivation on top of crazy hormones made mine really bad. I'm breastfeeding and was told I can only take sertraline which I've never taken before and I'm just too nervous of any side effects on the baby. You can always reach out to me too if you need help ❤

I have ocd and three children. I had ocd the entire time I was pregnant. Erp saved my life. I am doing so much better since doing erp. Please seek treatment if you have not.

I am seeking erp now. I start the 14th. I am seeing a therapist right now but he does not specialize in ocd and isn’t helping me with that. I am also on Prozac for depression.
