Hey Kimberley! I know how you feel. I’ve had OCD without knowing until my harm OCD went haywire literally out of nowhere, like a light switch back in August. It’s aimed at my son, who is 4. Im currently pregnant too which makes it even worse for me, I’m terrified I’ll have thoughts about my newborn too. I’ve been seeing a NOCD therapist and have seen a lot of improvement. I guess what has helped me is acceptance. Accepting that I have OCD, accepting that everyone has these thoughts, but us w OCD see actual threat in them. I do still have bad days, like yesterday and today. It’s hard to see it for what it is when you’re in a state of anxiety. But you’re not alone! You, me, and many others are in the same boat. Bad days won’t last forever! We’ve got this! Keep pushing. :)

Also, if I have the thoughts I’ll say them out loud and just agree with it. It helps to actually say it out loud. The thoughts in our head can become so overwhelming some times. So it’s good to differentiate the two.

Thankyou for your reply, I'm sorry that you are too suffering 😔 thats the thing with me I never seem to be able to accept its OCD I always buy into I'm a psychopath. at the moment I feel like I feel absolutely nothing and that is what bothers me the most and drives the thoughts that I actually want to do it. I've just started up on medication again and today has been a really bad day. I hope your doing ok today.

Do you ever thinking that you want to do it? I know that sounds crazy.
