My hocd started at 19. And I'm 26 now. I can relate to your story almost identical. But it takes a while to habituate to the fears and a lot of hard work. It will get better, u just have to put in the exposure work

Hi. My OCD hit me when i was 14.5 too. I got on medication and got through it. I never got a diagnosis for OCD as I was too ashamed to talk about my thoughts. I led a happy life for like 5 years and was (still am) in a very happy relationship until the thoughts came back and I didn’t know how to deal with them properly because I didn’t know I had OCD. I got diagnosed and am getting treatment now. I empathize with you so much. I was only 14 when my intrusive thoughts first came and I thought I was in denial about everything and I felt so helpless. Having it at such a young age kind of made it so that I never got to truly get to know myself. It makes it hard to tell the thoughts from reality when you may not have a clear view of reality. Im just trying to be happy and love my life again now but my whole identity has been thrown off by this disease:( Stay strong. Please try your best to leave the house. It may make you cry but you CAN do it. You are not alone❤️

Exactly the same. Hit me at 15 so it’s like I can’t even tell what proper reality should be.

Please stay strong. I know what youre going through. I'm 18 and I can find myself having ocd symptoms since I was like 4. Take it day by day. Dont push yourself too hard. You arent alone!
