You know the answer deep down. You gotta stop asking for reassurance it only worsens your ocd. I have HOCD and trust me your “friends” saying that movie is sus or if anyone uses that term sus they are homophobes LMAO

I’m gay qnd I understand! I had the same thing for awhile when I was worried and confused about my attraction to women. It’s not that there’s any homophobia(or I guess heterophobia in my case) attached it’s the fear of not knowing that makes our OCD flare up. It’s the loss of control and sexuality is something that is near impossible to control. I had to do exposures and let myself think of what it would be like to have romantic or sexual relationships with women and it was tough at first but after awhile I realized 1. IF I were straight it’s like not that big of a deal and 2. More importantly, I am gay and once the OCD started to dwindle my sexuality became more secure. I hole this helps, I’d recommend talking to a therapist about ERP! It cured my HOCD

I’m guessing you think I’m gay or bisexual after reading my post. I don’t want to be gay or bisexual. I just want a wife and two kids. It’s not that I have homophobia, it’s that being gay/bisexual is not me. It’s not my identity.

@SOOCD No, that’s not what I’m assuming. I was just telling you about my OCD which was kinda the reverse situation than yours.(I’m gay and I had OCD about actually being straight and lying to everyone about being gay) I said at the top that homophobia isn’t related to it at all, my comment is about MY experience not what I’m assuming your is

@1nussy Sorry about that. Someone on the NOCD forum previously triggered me by telling me I was gay/bisexual in denial, so it’s been hard for me to trust people on here
