Yeah I realized this awhile back. Any exposure is good exposure in my opinion. But sometimes I just have anxiety that lasts longer than 2 hrs to where it tires me tf out and I just want to escape and get out of my house smh.

I understand , build on it . Like if you feel checking then and there tell yourself you will check half n hour later put a timer to it half n hour later ask yourself do I feel like checking? Just delay it that's all until you reach a point where you need not check at all.

@Anonymous Yeah it just sucks sometimes cuz my body just feels numb but I can’t see any thoughts in my head and then I do an exercise too see what thoughts are buried inside my head still cuz you would think if my mind is blank I could pay attention to what I’m doing but I can’t and it’s very annoying. I know I should be watching tv shows that expose my thoughts but it’s the weekend and I like watching football so it makes it harder to work on what I actually need work on.

@OCDhurts Key is to stop reacting to it . You giving it importance makes it worse and even surpressing it. Any sexual dream is bound to turn you on. I remember long back I had a dream where two men were doing it , I was turned on. In reality i am not turned on by guy on guy. So that's what

Haha oh no I’ve been posting all day about how upset mine make me. Someone on here told me I’m bi if I had a sex dream about a girl so I’m using that as some exposure

Yes I just had a dream where I was making out with a girl , I am choosing to not react to it .

@Anonymous Good for you! I’m kind of glad that this happened to me today bc I shouldn’t seek reassurance anyway. So it backfiring is probably not the worst outcome!!

@wellwellwell Yes it's bound to screw with your libido , that happens. Tell your brain to bring it on , see where it goes . Eventually you will stop reacting to it .

@Anonymous So true. Yeah last time I had sex it was horrendous because I was so sad and scared to be vulnerable. I hate ocd for doing this but it’ll get better
