You have to be ready to fully engage the ERP, man. It only partially worked. Did you try meds?

@Issac11 I’m sorry you’re feeling bummed, man. How long have you been on meds? I’m on round 2 of ERP now. If you’re feeling a bit depressed maybe change the meds?

@MMountains I’ve been on meds off and on for 2 yrs. nothing has worked for me. So I don’t care it all sucks. No matter what erp I do it doesn’t matter. Everything is all the same. I’m not going to get better.

Are you sure it’s just OCD? Sounds a lot like depressive symptoms too. Wishing you all the best— everyone’s path to happiness is different, and the brain is just another organ that CAN be helped.

Well I’m on lamictal so not my problem. I’m depressed cuz I have ocd not cuz I’m just depressed. I’m depressed cuz I don’t know what erp to do. I’m depressed cuz I have stupid ocd that I don’t know how to deal with. I need to talk to a therapist about this shit but no one answers my fuckin emails so I don’t care.

@Issac11 I’m right there with you, man. I have existential OCD and it’s like I can hardly move sometimes. I would start back at square one if you can, and try your very hardest not to go into it with the depressive mindset. Maybe emailing isn’t the way to go, you can always schedule a call with one of the people here to get yourself back in better hands.

@Coul.C Completely agree— my guy was actually experiencing existentialism too, and he had such a positive experience that he came back and decided to work as a representative. They’re super cool.

@sammyd666 I did sent an email to one of the NOCD therapist on here dumbass hasn’t return my email. I don’t even want to talk to him now cuz it’ll be after the fact. Therapist don’t listen to me anyways or I just don’t know how to communicate what’s going on with me.

@Issac11 Bad experiences are completely devastating. But emailing might not be enough— try to get on the phone with someone, the initial call is free. Don’t let your upsetness stop you from being the bigger person and reaching out again, that’s your OCD telling you it’s not worth it so that it can get stronger. Don’t let anything stop you, dude. You have to try everything, even if you’ve already tried a lot.

@sammyd101 Nah it doesn’t matter. No one in the health field has done me right for the longest time anyways it’s always me insisting that something else is the matter with me and me always being right so I don’t care anymore.

@Issac11 I can’t make you believe it’s worth it to try, but I’ve been with a LOT of different therapists and it’s taken years to finally be diagnosed. There is a lot of wisdom in other people, and at the end of the day we’re all just humans. I hope you find your peace, and maybe give it another shot.

Everyone is doing teletherapy now. It’s not cheap but do whatever you have to do man.
