@Obsessed/to/the/bone of course! i don’t really depersonalize, i derealize instead, which is a similar thing to depersonalization. if u need to know anything about derealizing i can explain it too

@Obsessed/to/the/bone so depersonalizing is feeling like ur in a dream state because u feel like u are observing ur thoughts or reality from the outside as if u aren’t really u, u are someone watching u from the outside. derealizing is being in a dream state and feeling like you are watching the world from ur perspective and not someone else’s. like u are just unfamiliar with what u see in front of u but u feel that it is u that is looking at things in front of u

Hi guys! I’m new to the community and I’ve recently received my OCD diagnosis (tho I’ve known about it since childhood). I’ve been somewhat spiraling lately as I wait for my first ERP session (hooray!) I was just wondering if any of you guys have received ERP for existential OCD and if it was successful? My existential OCD compulsions are more so mental and have been affecting me in the sense of dream/memory flashbacks and giving me a sort of “uncanny” feeling about everything around me. Any advice is appreciated! Thank you❤️

I read a lot of other people’s posts where they deal with intrusive feelings, and sometimes even emotions? Would anyone care to further explain so i can understand this better? it would be very much appreciated.
