I see you man. I know the hopelessness feels like too much. I’m sorry you haven’t been able to receive the help you deserve, and you deserve it- that is indisputable. It’s common go through a few therapists before finding a match. OCD often requires more thorough research because it’s important for a professional to specialize in it. I know in this moment, it feels like the discouragement you’re experiencing means you will never recover- but this is a feeling, not a fact. I would take a break to take time to yourself, reevaluate what resources you do have, and go from there- you owe to yourself. Even if therapy isn’t an option due to finances, I would take steps for yourself. Practice mindfulness, stabilize your sleep schedule, exercise, engage with the outdoors (even if it’s just walking down the road). Treat your OCD like it’s unimportant by acting in opposite of what it wants and in time your thoughts will follow.

Chill man I see your replies down nere'. I thought this was going a good route but, not thinking about it would be a good step.. or just accepting that if youre gay, youre gay and if youre not, youre not. (Which me or you arent, or any other person with homosexual OCD.)

What are they gon do? Tell me it gets better when it doesn’t? What erp they gon tell me that I haven’t done and yet I still ain’t me? It’s bullshit almost 3 yrs of therapy and all I’ve done is added more ocd to my fucked up self so how does it get better when it’s only gotten worse. I’ve faced my fears and yet it’s still there so why am I supposed to think I’m going to get better? Huh? Like I don’t care anymore it’s better this way anyway cuz I don’t have to keep an agreement to not kill myself so I can carry out how I’m gonna do it just change things up on it so I don’t give a fuck anymore.

If you aren’t trying and putting in the effort, if you’re excessively drinking, being angry and agressive towards help, avoiding, etc. None of the OCD is going to get better. 80% of people have had success with ERP meaning it works.
