How old were you when this happened? Have you heard of all or nothing thinking? Sure something bad might have happened but that doesnt define who you are. There's a ton of good aspects about you or things you did that were good. Real event ocd just magnifies the crap out of an incident. Makes it worse than it is

This was just like a month and a half ago......Late January....... I want to talk about it....but I am distraught about it.....I can't believe life........I can't believe this happened.......atleast 50% of people would like what the hell???.....If it was a kid....I could of been reported probably.......I didn't mean for what happened.....I didn't think the cat would react like that...I can't get an image out of my head......I hope the cat was just startled but you can't talk to a cat...

@Anonymous If your suicidal I highly urge you to talk to a professional. Good people do bad things intentionally or unintentionally. We need to learn from it, not repeat it and grow. No human being is perfect, everyone will at one point in their life make a mistake big or small. Im not sure what you did exactly but I'm sure its not irredeemable. OCD will make you feel like its irredeemable. Since its about an animal, do you know how many poachers are there? How many people get involved in things like dog fighting? Do they feel the remorse you feel? No they don't give a damn. Try not to be hard on yourself. Please see a therapist or go to the ER if you feel like you are gonna harm yourself You will get through this

What would you think if you keep a coat and flannel shirt on your lap at all times (in case of groinals) when the cat is on your lap?.......but then you you get in an arguement with your dad on the phone and have a rage-harm/sexual thought and pushed up like 2 inches when the cat was on your lap? BUT What if you were scared that you felt like a horrible person when you did that and felt something in your groin?....and later you pushed up on the cat again to CHECK to make sure you didn't feel something on your groin (an OCD thing)....BUT then the CAT felt something?......Would you feel like you sexually assaulted the cat?...I had a coat and a flannel shirt and thought there was no way the cat would feel something I was specifically focused on if I felt something in my groin(I am kind of crazy, I seriously wasn't thinking about the cat).....but the cat was shocked.... I can't get over this!!!....The cat had a shocked and scared look on her face when she jumped off like what the hell just happened???........Certain authorities probably think I need the cat taken away...

I'm pretty sure your cat is healthy and happy. This seems like reassurance seeking so I wont try to do that a lot. It seems like just ocd and magnification of what happened. Again, seeing a professional therapist is the right way to go because of how much distress this is causing you.

I am scared of what people think....I am in so much shame and pain.....I seriously didn't mean for something bad to happen to the cat......I was having a bad OCD day...and was seriously ruminating on the whole thing and thought it would be terrible if I felt something on my groun when I pushed up the first time......

Physical arousal for men is not the same as sexual arousal. It can happen due to the clothing, friction or just a ton of hormones. Also can be caused by pressure against the urethra(like when we wake up in the morning and haven't used the restroom yet) OCD can also cause groinal responses. So your just in that spiral of what ifs, rumination and guilt. Try to play tetris, this is my favourite way to stop the obsessive thought processes
