:( I’m sorry to hear you’re dealing with panic attacks. In my experience medication made it worse for me too, and I choose to face it on my own. Different strokes for different folks. I have panic disorder so the entire feelings you described was exactly me four months ago. You can do this! I got through it and have only one a week and that’s a lot of progress for panic disorder. I believe in you and you have to find a way to trust yourself to know what your body needs. Maybe extra medication isn’t the solution, but if your doctor recommends it then give it a try.

My psych wants me to treat the ocd. The rest she has chalked up to having covid that will resolve itself. So my issue is I’ve had ocd my entire life. It’s possible to get under control without meds I’ve done it before. Two months ago I had it under control before this started. My ocd currently is only a result of how I feel right now. I don’t do well on SSRIs and I just got off an SNRI that I was only on because of the mess my last SSRI left behind and that didn’t go well either. There’s got to be a way to do this without something I’ve got to wean myself off of in the future. I don’t want to do this again

@jljbchs I’d express that to your doctor then. I am firmly against medication pushing for people who want to figure it out on themselves. Medication is good, but if you yourself admit that this is not something you want to do again and want to tackle it on your own then I say go for it. It will not hurt you to try, in fact it’s only going to help. I would talk to your doctor more about this issue and how you feel about it all...
