@Kimlovesdogs Yes, my OCD does whatever it can to convince me that some sort of catastrophic permanence has happened or will happen. It tries to convince me that I’m irredeemable, permanently damaged, you name it. Anything it can to make me feel like it’s not ok to just be ok and be happy right here and now

It’s a sticky one for sure, because it actually did happen whatever it is, so you usually don’t immediately discount it as OCD and before you know it you’re obsessing all day.

This is depressing...I hope through prayer its possible.....somehow there isn't the emotional stronghold.

prayer??...I believe in God and there is a verse in the bible about taking every thought captive....I hope that applies....I don't want what is bothering me to bother me forever.

I mean we need to live free emotionally.....if we feel bad about it, we shouldn't have to feel bad forever...that is not living..........mine was an accident but I can't get an image out of my head...it emotionally tears me up.... I get confused about real event......some peoples is not bad at all........some might be stickier.......
