Did you make these comments to him or was it someone else? I’m a little confused

Someone else . But I read those comments and I’m not sure if this comments are considered child porn in my country , Canada

It doesn’t sound like you did anything illegal

Thanks for helping . But I kept staying on his profile after finding the first 2 comments . The age of consent in Canada is 16, but idk if sugar baby relationships are allowed , the law didn’t mention there couldn’t be money involved so it’s likely not cp. but then I actually saw the comments then reported them. I’m not sure why I stayed in his profile and what that says about me . I’m not Sure if I Should bring this up to my lawyer or a therapist

@lucy.wilefirr Talk to your therapist first would be my opinion.

@ashleyboo I’m super confused too now but I would maybe try talking to your therapist explain the whole situation from start to finish and tell her how you feel about it or him. Don’t know if your therapist is female or male. Also mention that your unsure if you should be reporting this to authorities or not

@ashleyboo I mean my obsession is whether I did something illegal and whether this is illegal and I’m only seeing her next month. I’ll bring that up with her then though . Ty . But idk what to do before that , and whether I’ve dont something illegal

@ashleyboo What are you confused about ?

@lucy.wilefirr Plus what makes it potentially a crime is that I randomly clicked on his photo knowing I could potentially see a sext, I guess it was a checking compulsion of some sort to see if the material is actually illegal? And THEN I reported whatever I could find when I scrolled through the comments of these photos

@lucy.wilefirr If you weren’t making any comments then you didn’t commit any crimes. However I think you need to take a step back from it and understand that it’s our ocd doing the talking we can deal with this in a more progressive way. Maybe take a break from the internet for a bit or just look at content you know won’t be triggering.

@Justjack I mean Canadian law is weird or I’m just misinterpreting it . But what if the comments constitute child pornography ?

@lucy.wilefirr I’m Canadian too and from what I understand you’re a witness to said comments not the one making them. You’re not in any trouble trust me it’s your ocd being convincing and manipulative. I know Canadian law is very strange but sometimes we have to sit with our uncertainties instead of address them.

@Justjack I’m just obsessed with whether the comments themselves constitute child porn , though it sounds like a stretch to me
