I was convinced I was bi yesterday and I still sort of feel like I am. It’s so draining but I think the only way we can move forward is to accept we just might be. I hate to admit it as much as you do but if I don’t accept the uncertainty my mind will spend years searching for answer and not be satisfied when it gets one 😔

@PinkLotus I wish I had a group I could talk to in times like this. It’s taking every once of my being to not be impulsive and just come out to everyone and move on with my life and go through the lost of breaking up with my boyfriend if this is the case. I’m so sad I’m so sad

@Legallyocd Hey you’re not alone I feel exactly the same, I know my boyfriend would support me if I was bi but I just don’t want to be. I want to be with him and I really don’t want to be with girls. My mind keeps coming up with “proof” that I’m bi and maybe even lesbian and I’m going crazy. I’m here for you , you’re not alone.

@PinkLotus But I feel so alone . I feel like I’m a lesbian and I am using ocd to keep the hope that I am straight. I am literally crying uncontrollably.

@Legallyocd Believe me I know how you feel, I sobbed yesterday during an exposure. You don’t need to know right this moment, you don’t need to leave your boyfriend.

@PinkLotus You’re right I’m just scared that now I know. Like what do I do I can’t un know or forget this feeling

@Legallyocd You can’t guarantee that you know, maybe it is real and maybe it isn’t. Sure maybe you are a lesbian... or maybe you’re not. You can’t be sure, which means nothing has changed. In this moment you’re okay and there’s no threat. It may feel like it but you’re okay. If you truly knew the answer , you wouldn’t be fighting so hard rn

@PinkLotus But I did an exposure with people you came out but didn’t accept themselves so it seems like fighting doesn’t mean anything either

@PinkLotus I know you’re right I’m just so scared of being wrong. It feels irresponsible to continue on knowing I have doubts

@Legallyocd I completely understand, I feel the same I’m so scared I’m going to build with my boyfriend only to realize I never really wanted it in the first place. We have to power through and only when we accept the uncertainty will we be able to find clarity

@PinkLotus Thank you so much for taking the time to talk to me. I still feel bad but it’s going down. It hurts to that I’m literally scared of every interaction I have with a woman

@Legallyocd Of course! I know how it feels and I’m glad the anxiety is finally going down. I can’t even make friends anymore I’m so scared I’m going to like them. We’ll be alright, we just need to keep pushing forward

@PinkLotus One day no matter what outcome is we’re going to remember how pointless it was to suffer over nothing. I can’t wait for that
