Hey buddy sometimes you just need a little extra help and it’s not a big deal. If it’s affecting your day to day life, once you get through it you’ll see it all as better and the right step

Maybe but I just find if I’m in such a bad mental state that I need to go to a facility why do I wake up and try to live life like normal then? What’s the point of driving to go pick up some coffee, working out, and going to work if an outpatient therapist thinks I need a higher level of care? Shouldn’t the higher level of care be for someone who stays on there bed all day and doesn’t leave there room cuz they are panicking something bad may or may not happen? I’m just confused as to why I need a higher level of care. Like I can go through each scenario of what gets me anxiety or what I’m fearful of happening and what intrusive thought pops up when I’m face to face with people or am in a group setting. Like I know what ocd is and what I still avoid and what my compulsions are. I would’ve just like reassurance that I’ll be back to normal and will eventually be in a relationship with a women even though how depressed it makes me feel cuz of past history of trying smfh. I guess I’m ocd when it comes to a previous therapist not giving me or indicating to me that I’ll be fine and that I just need to face my fears so that I can one day be in a happy relationship with a women and live a happy normal life while pursuing my goals and dreams. I just felt like I never got that message from her and now I’m ocd about it smfh.

Yeah man, I’m going through the same, I find it hard to get out of bed, and when I do it I find it hard to enjoy things. It’s because I’m afraid and because I’m in a rut, but I’m gonna keep trying and I hope you do too. If you trust who your seeing follow through, if you don’t, find someone you can. Keep pushing through the maze buddy and we will both get to a happy place
