i know what groinal responses are but i never had them before i just had the anxiety and disgust why now start having them? plus there's a lack of anxiety and i have been thinking like what if they aren't compulsions and it's driving me crazy

You have to be able to live with uncertainty, it will all come to you when it's the right time. You are always going to have intrusive thoughts its just how you respond to them. Good luck ,l know it's really hard

@Nour04 A thought is just a thought don't give it feelings ,when you have that thought, can you try to say maybe l am or maybe lm not,mocking back at your ocd

Maybe you are bi maybe you are straight. You just have to accept those uncertainties. The more you fight back, the more powerful your intrusive thoughts will be, just try to accept the thoughts until they fade away :)

@Nour04 That is one of the reasons why these thoughts keep appearing. You don't want to accept it which makes you have more anxiety over them. I didn't want to accept these thoughts either, however once you slowly accept it, they'll start fading. Recovery process is hard but I know you can do it. You have to not let the thoughts bother you anymore

@Nour04 Just remember these thoughts don’t dictate reality and are just imaginations in the brain, so just assume that the things you are worrying about aren’t happening as they most likely aren’t
