Hey thank you so much for replying! I really appreciate it, it’s so nice to know I’m not alone with this but I’m also so sad that other people struggle with this! Look after yourself!

@Smile941 i try as much as i can to get back to doing stuff i used to enjoy i have been emotionally and mentally "paralysed" as i had hit an all time low. i know how hard it can be to enjoy stuff you usually like and it may even feel like a burden or a "homework". try as much as you can to keep up old activities, or if you feel good enough on a given day, try picking something new!! some of the most relaxing stuff in my opinion are: going on walks in nature, maybe colouring, reading books, cooking/baking or if you want try watching movies/series(i personally avoid them because they trigger me a lot on my bad days)

@Nour04 Good advice. Dancing also helps a lot it's like saying to ocd's face "fk off I'm happy and you can't do anything about it".

@Nour04 Oh gosh that’s awful, I totally understand. I really do try to do these things but nothing seems to make me happy these days! And yes I’m the same with movies too. Thank you so much for your advice

@Smile941 i know how debilitating it could be. actually if you think about mental illness in general it's pretty ironic, it paralyses you until you're not able to care for yourself anymore, but the best way out is caring for yourself! ironic and funny if you ask me (don't take this the wrong way humour is one of my coping mechanisms)

@Nour04 Haha yeah I totally understand! I just had a scary thought, I’m female but I remember I used to say when I had loads of make up on that I looked like a drag queen, because I always thought I looked manly. Now I’m panicking

@Smile941 try meditation or breathing slowly or even mindfulness when the thoughts occur. try as much as you can not to guve in to compulsions, you've got this!

@Anonymous I had that too, also because i used to cut my hair short because i thought it was cool/rebellious. But then was afraid i looked like a guy. So i feel you. And my OCD keeps making false memories too. It makes me feel like i’m in denial.
