any advice on how to sit with uncomfortableness and guilt because of the intrusive thoughts? it’s so hard for me to be happy and feel mentally free because of guilt and worry. :(

I haven’t quite mastered this lol. I think we have an expectation of sitting with the thoughts that mean they will go away. Which leads to ruminating. I usually let the thought occur. Dont judge it. Dont think more about it. Let it be. That is the hardest thing to practice but it does work

@Anonymous you’re right i always think sitting with the thought will make it subside but it actually almost always turns into ruminating. thank u!

@Bean For some reason I can only see the one comment where it says "to clarify" but It seems like you’re seeking reassurance/expressing grievances. Just sit with the feeling and don’t judge it. Or use radical acceptance and think “im ok with this” or “that’s different”
