Going outside is hard for me, but I know it's something I have to do more often. I'm not used to it, but I'd like to in order to get out of my comfort zone. I especially would like to distance myself from social media like stated in this post. Very helpful post here!

I understand you, this can be hard, and it hurts me. I hate so much feeling this. When my POCD started I couldn't even watch television ( I was anxious about seeing children on the screen). Don't feel bad for not being able to hangout or something like that yet, when you live with OCD you need to be patience and strong (don't compare yourself with others, everything in its own time). When you feel better, it's good to try even if it's a short car ride — because this situation is being normalized in our brain. Leave social media help a lot, this things make me anxious. When I stopped using social media, I started to get better!

@Lizzie Scheavi Yeah, I know. I really didn't like how this all started out. Anxiety was through the roof but now I don't know what that feels like anymore. I don't plan on finding out either. Comparing myself to others is something I have extreme trouble with. Social media definitely isn't helping me in that department. I've been reading up on drawing lessons to try and become a lot better with it and to turn it into a hobby. I get inspired by art quite a lot. :)

@Lizzie Scheavi I'm glad you've been learning a new language. It's funny because I have the Duolingo app just sitting there and I've occasionally thought of learning a new language. I should put time into that. :)

@BigGip09 You're doing well! I get more anxious about being anxious haha, but now I'm watching Nathan Peterson's OCD videos and he's opening my mind about just accepting and saying "ok, this is happening" (and I can improve my English with him. Now I know a lot different words about OCD haha :0). Nice to see you are learning to draw, I'm not good in this area, I prefer to just admire the art. Will you be the new Da Vincci or Gustav Klimt (I really like this second artist)!!! It's really cool to know you're learning on your own. Duolingo is boring, I tried to learn English there, but I didn't see a diversity of phrases. Now I prefer to make mistakes here and hope that someone correct me.

@Lizzie Scheavi Oh, that's the worst. Worrying about not worrying can really get you with the back door spikes. I'm glad you're watching videos that are aware of the situation and staying on your toes. Haha, that made me chuckle a bit. It was funny. When I look at art, I get inspired and always wonder what's behind the scenes. I'm learning it at a slow pace so that I can be patient! It's unfortunate that Duolingo didn't give you the best English lessons. Hopefully it isn't that way when I begin to learn Spanish. I'm glad you've been finding other ways to fully learn the language though! So many of us in this community could he helping you with that alone! :)

@BigGip09 You are right, be patient! You think like an artist :0 I love so much spanish. I think it's a beautiful language. O wish Duo help you with this hahaha. I'm not fluent, but I know some phrases I learned in school and with songs.

@Lizzie Scheavi You think so? Thanks. That does help. :) I always thought the Spanish language was awesome. It was always cool to me hearing people speak it at such a high rate. I also REALLY like Mexican culture ever since childhood. I really do hope that I can learn the language well.
