Definitely can relate. I think its affected by perception and mindset. Like there are times at work I'm like "let's do this I'm ready to own this!!!" And can tell my OCD to kick it to the curb but other days I'm like "wow why do I even show up here this is the worst ugh." My OCD loooooooves to attack when I'm in that negative state of mind. It's impossible to be happy 100% 24/7 but it's best to approach things with a positivity that will hopefully keep you in a good state of mind. You got this stay strong 💪💪💪

Yeah. OCD can be very black and white. Oftentimes for me, when things are all going well my OCD doesn’t bug me too much (probably mostly because I’m on meds.) When something goes wrong is generally when it flares up. It’s almost like “hey dude, you must not have been taking my advice and doing everything I tell you to do. Obviously since something bad happened you need to listen to me to prevent more bad things from happening.” Like “if everything isn’t perfect then you need to listen to me.”

Whenever anyone starts to feel like their thoughts are less triggering or they feel a moment of happiness/ relief OCD tells you that you want the thoughts back or you actually like having the thoughts and maybe thats just the person I really am? I feel like im going insane😢

Hi everyone! For those of you who have overcome OCD, did you find the initial feelings, emotions, and thoughts kind of become less and less consuming as it got better? In the beginning, I feel like I was crying, sick to my stomach, had a nervous/scared “blah” feeling, etc.. now, Im not crying like that, i still get a blah nervous belly feeling which kinda scares me into thinking its because the thoughts are true and maybe I was just in denial? Idk.. help lol

Like to the point of your mind being yours? And not being anxious or harassed by your thoughts 24/7? I just wanna know if escape is possible?
