Can an intrusive thought turn into a false memory?

How do you know for sure? I’m so confused that something happened but I don’t believe it’s something I would of done. How do you know for sure?

@Just Breathe ❤️ You don’t know for sure because even if yoy knew, for 100 percent certainty, your ocd won’t let you feel 100 percent. So you have to let go. I think right now, you are asking for wayyy too much reassurance but it won’t benefit you. <33
