Yeppp. Your GP can recommend something for you. I’m taking medication currently, and I feel like its helping.

@hello123_ I just started on sertraline a few weeks ago. It definitely takes some time to start working. But I feel like I’ve noticed a positive change. I think you should definitely speak to your GP about your symptoms. Wishing you strength 💪🏽

I understand that everyone is different but lately I have been debating on medication just because of past experiences but does anyone have any good experiences with medication that has helped them with their OCD as well as therapy or treatment? As of now I’m dealing with it by myself but it feels like it may be getting worse

i’ve been dealing with OCD for years. my biggest theme being POCD. i have dealt with the anxiety aspect of it all but i think i now have a dysregulated nervous system that normal somatic grounding exercises cannot fix. i also experience only depression. it’s like i still have the POCD + intrusive thoughts. I try not to engage with them, but I’m still depressed but don’t experience much anxiety. should I go on medication? Is it more than just OCD now?
