at least you have the self-awareness to know that it's simply ocd talking, not you. this is tough, and i don't have any advice, i'm sorry for that, however, the thing with pure o is it's mostly in your head. the best way i've found to power through it, is to essentially either avoid the topic altogether, or to like, i dunno, try to think about other things, to purposefully drown it out. not that those are *helpful* all the time, but they're meaningful manners of like, coping in the short-term, until you feel ready to take on the task ahead of you, y'know?
