Me too man. It's been a few months since my main nocd plan but hocd came back pretty hard recently. It's just your ocd trying to catch you off guard. You need to remember all the things you're therapist told you and apply them. It's just thoughts, meaningless intrusive thoughts, that's why they cause you badly anxiety. They lie to you and make you feel all sorts of things, but they only have the power that you give them. You have to stop feeding the fire and eventually it will die out. Avoid doing compulsions like reassurance, don't avoid triggers, and do NOT imagine yourself in scenarios to check if you like it or not, thats the main one that kept me f**** up for a while. You got this bro its just ocd. If you're going through hell, keep going.
Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry that your hocd theme resurfaced as well and causing you trouble. The skills I've learned from my prior sessions have helped enough that I am remaining stable, I'm just tired of dealing with it. OCD is just exhausting to deal with at times with how unrelenting it can be.
You got this too! Hope the rest of the week goes well for you!
@Anonymous Thanks man you too, I think I'm good again but about 2 weeks ago I was very bad again for like an entire week but for me it was because I did good for a very long time that I sort of forgot how to react to intrusive thoughts, so when they came I just ruminated a lot which got me back in cycle but I got back on track by avoiding compulsions. And yeah man ocd does suck, but I feel like this sets us apart from other men and makes us stronger because no one knows the HELL we have gone through lol
