no clue if this is compulsive, but Iām interested to hear any obsessions others have that arenāt the ācommonā ones you see online about what ROCD is? a few for me: - thoughts about their partner being with someone else instead (sometimes a specific person) and then trying to analyze your reaction to it? e.g. does it *feel* more right than us, do I actually feel happy for them, etc. - trying to imagine your partner in your current situation or maybe a specific future situation (when theyāre not around) and trying to decide if they āfitā in it? - being super scared of losing them, then suddenly feeling like you donāt care much for them at all, and just constantly cycling? - I almost never fully enjoyed sex because I was constantly obsessing about whether or not I was turned on, turned on āenough,ā if I was just having groinal responses and wasnāt actually turned on, looking at his face just to decide if I find him attractive enough, comparing my experience with how I feel watching content alone, etc.

Thereās something that happens that keeps me stuck in a thought, itās when I can see some part of myself agreeing with or relating to it in some way. Thatās when the doubt creeps in. If I can understand *why* the thought is there, doesnāt that mean itās not just random? Doesnāt that mean it actually reflects something about me? For example **(TMI/TW)**: I had the thought, *āI wonder what other peopleās kinks are (including friends, family, even teenagers).ā* And then I caught myself thinking, *āWell, I guess that could be interesting information⦠maybe I wouldnāt even stop someone from sharing it with me. Does that mean I actually want to know? Waitādoes that make me perverted or incestuous for even having this curiosity?ā* The same thing has happened with other thoughts, like wondering what someoneās privates might look like. I recognize that, on some level, that could be interestingābut does that mean the thought is truly mine? Maybe the answer is super obvious and I just canāt see through my OCD smoke. This was a bit embarrassing for me to write š„², but can anyone provide some insight?

Have you ever had a thought about sexual taboo topics, when you have a person for whom ocd is attached, that you think "maybe that person wants that, that's the way he looks at me or what do I know" what if that person wanted it, and you feel an urge to do something about it, you say or what do I know?
