hi! I opened up to my parents about it a few months ago and was really scared too at first. You don’t have to share specifics if you’re not comfortable, I didn’t because I felt like it was personal to me. What helped me is explaining what ocd is, and how it’s affected areas of your life, and how it’s made you feel. Also, explaining specific ways in which they can support you is really helpful too. I also used YouTube videos in Spanish to help explain bc Spanish is my moms native language
