What methods are you using to calm down?

Just laying down mostly. When I start to have a bad s o o c d moment my sensations make it hard for me to sit down or stand up. It makes me uncomfortable and it makes the symptoms worse. So usually I just lay down and do something menial until it calms down

@Exoduslevi I don't think that is performing any compulsions! Sounds like you are lying down and relaxing as much as possible while waiting for the moment and thoughts to pass

Would it be logical to think “if I never worried about this before, it must be OCD”? I am trying to not reassurance seek, but when I can approach things logically, it really helps me. I have been dealing with varying themes since July and I try to be pragmatic about things. I’d like to stop things in their tracks if I can.
