Hi PotatoChip21! Thank you so much for having the vulnerability and reaching out on here. I have dealt with ROCD even when I wasn’t in a relationship. It is definitely not fun! Some thing that I might try to do is create uncertainty statements around your anxieties. Such as, “I may or may not be attracted to that person.” I know that sounds incredibly distressing, but in the long run, it’s going to help immensely! Our OCD wants us to find certainty, when in actuality, nobody has certainty about life. Keep up the work! I know it’s hard, but you can do it!
