How to practice ERP with a thought that doesn't really cause distress?
OCD can be so sneaky ugh. After a long while without major issues, a new pathetic thought came up. I dont even know what subtype is this. Basically I have a mental image of someone shooting me, and I dodge the bullet. The thought keeps repeating endlessly. I gave up ''dodging'' and started letting the bullet hit me. Now, neither scenarios ( dodging or being hit) really cause me too much distress. I'm more scared about the idea of never getting to stop thinking about it ever again, like having a song stuck in my head.
