Small Win for Somatic OCD
I went on a 2.5 mile run this morning. It can be triggering for me because it calls more attention to the sensation that’s the focus of my obsession. I did notice the sensation many times on the run but I reminded myself that it’s okay to notice the sensation, that the goal isn’t to not notice it, and that I’m still able to live my values even with noticing it. Small win but feeling good!
