Exposure therapy
So I’ve been struggling with insomnia and sleep OCD lately and I think I may have practiced exposure therapy today but I’m not sure! I went to lay in bed and try to sleep (which is a trigger)….the idea of laying down and trying to force sleep knowing that I may not be able has been terrifying me. But I was able to accept my thoughts and, though I didn’t really sleep, I was able to lay and rest my body without having a panic attack. This seemed impossible just yesterday! Though I’m still anxious, I feel like a may have some progress. Any thoughts?
