I used to get this, and put it down to a couple things: 1) cortisol spiking at night which makes my anxiety worse 2) less distractions so my brain has more space to churn. I used to get spikes around 7-9pm, and then just as I was falling asleep
I take Lactium, a harmless milk product, to lower cortisol levels in am. Might work at night…research, don’t take my word for it!
