Weed and SSRI

I myself do not / have experience in or do that sort of stuff at all and I’m not on medication at all so honestly take what I say the grain of salt, you don’t even have to listen but I would actually highly suggest you actually go to your psychiatrist or Doctor Who prescribed you said medication to ask them directly as they would know best, if it would have any sort of affect, depending on how much you do it how often you do it and how much you take. And as much as you may show concern which is a good thing to be aware of just in case, so you know your meds are actually doing what they’re supposed to be doing. But I wouldn’t worry too much as long as there haven’t been major affects placed upon you, your best course of action like I said, would go to your medical professional, who is prescribed you said medication

In my experience, THC can make ICD symptoms worse because it causes you to hyperfixate on whatever enters your stream of consciousness, so if an intrusive thoughts pops up, it feels so much harder to ignore. However, CBD by itself can be beneficial for anxiety and mood in general for a lot of folks. One thing worth noting is that there's experimental evidence suggesting that CBD acts as a partial agonist on the D2 receptor, which is a very similar mechanism of the antipsychotic Aripiprazole (which people sometimes get prescribed in order to "augment" the ssri if the ssri alone isn't doing enough for the OCD symptoms) Please do bear in mind, however, that you should always talk to a psychiatrist about this just in case there are interactions, and don't view CBD oil or hemp joints as a replacement for standard meds unless the doctor thinks it's ok to explore. Side note: THC can cause panic attacks, obsessive thought patterns, and, in high enough doses, even psychotic symptoms for some people. (Not trying to scare anyone or trigger any health-related obsessions - ymmv, as everyone's body metabolizes stuff differently, and some people have no negative effects whatsoever. However, I personally learned about the more nasty side effects the hard way, lol, so do be aware that it can occasionally make things worse for some people.)
