I seriously am stuck within my head, I need advice I got blurred memories from a walk home drunk and don’t know if I r*ped someone, I’m so scared but nothings came of it. But that’s all that’s on my mind I’m seriously struggling. What shall I do please?
Do you know the person you think it might of happened too ? Mabey message them and say do you remember much of the night as everything is a blur to me. Do you think you could of thought it happened from the ocd making you think that ? I know alcohol really messes with your mind badly on alcohol.
@Lovehearts Don’t have a clue even if there was a women just that it’s been 10 months of thinking about the night I don’t know what’s real or not, I really don’t know if it’s OCD or real I’m so scared, when I feel like I admit to it in my head it makes me feel a little better but I don’t know if that’s awful
@Anonymous I'm sure something would of come from it if it was true, a rumour, hearing things from other people, I guess the more you think about it the deeper you go, it can take you to some messed up places and make you think the worst. Nothing has come from it in 10 months so I guess it may be just your thoughts making you think something, the unknown is our worst fear. We love to have an answer for everything and when we can't get it we keep repeating the same question until it drives us insane. I'm sure you know yourself deep down who you are as a person 😃 sometimes we just have to accept we don't have an answer for everything and let it be. Mabey you had an intrusive thought about that while you was drinking and woke up thinking it happened. I hope you can let it go and think posotive about yourself 😃
@Lovehearts I walked home drunk on my own which took 30 mins I’m just scared, it’s ruining my life I genuinely am bed bound because of it and I have no motivation to do anything, do you think something would’ve came of it by now because it is so serious I’m just so stressed over it, thankyou for your comments though it does help too.
@Anonymous I think you would of noticed something if it was true or heard something, it sounds like the alcohol made you think something that wasn't true, I know alcohol is so bad for me my thoughts go all over the place and I think the worst things and constantly think what did I do last night, I hardly drink now because its so bad for me. I know alcohol has made me think of things that I could of done the next morning. Don't be so hard on yourself please get out of bed and start living, we are all afraid of the unknown, time to start living and be okay with uncertainty! You know your true self deep down and worrying about it means you are a good person because you know you wouldn't do it. We fear what we wouldn't do! Please get out of bed think posotive about yourself and start living we only have one life, don't waste it on worrying I know I have done that too much and it gets you know where, worrying is a waste of energy it literally wastes your life away, you mase well get out and live and let it go and be happy, be thankful for our freedom because some people don't have that! Know you're a good person and worrying means you care and it's not you!! Please get out of bed! Love yourself and do something today for yourself that you love doing. You are not your thoughts!! Can you see a therapist? I’m sorry this is so hard. This very much sounds like ocd, and if it is, you need to see a trained professional in ocd and erp. You can recover. It does get better. For now, please try not to argue with these thoughts. Try saying, “I’m not answering these questions.” And then focus on something else you value, even if you feel irresponsible and immoral for moving on. I’m saying a prayer for you. Have courage.
@noneuclidean I’m in the process of getting one but I had one before and that didn’t work out, feels like I’ll never get better, I’ll try your technique hopefully that’ll help.
I went out 2 years ago with some friends and I can’t remember some of the night - we went to a house party and my friends say nothing happened but I’m so afraid that I cheated on my partner and don’t remember it. It’s consuming my every minute and I can’t let it go. I was reading up on false memory ocd the other day and it triggered me into thinking what if something I imagined happening actually happened and I don’t know what to do and I’m scared that because I imagined something a certain way that if it wasn’t the same thing I imagined that it must be true
I'm worried that I sexual assulted or r*ped my dog when I was 17 and I'm 18 now. This memory, has came up multiple and changes rapidly, it says that I was also saying very disturbing things to the dog, calling her good and weird disgusting things like that. I don't know if I can live with myself if this is true.
I feel so scared and gross and i keep replaying everything in my head for reassurance but everything feels blurry. I just need exact information, exact proof that I didn’t hurt someone.
