I’ve been suffering from severe DPDR for 6 months straight, not any relief at all. not for a single second. Has anyone gotten out of dpdr? if so, what helped? i’m really ready to give up. this is terrifying and i’ve lost everything.
Have you tried medication for OCD, please know you will feel better than you do now❤️🩹
@Elliexoxo i’ve tried prozac, lexapro, effexor, paxil, wellbutrin, and zyprexa. they’ve helped anxiety, but not the DPDR

I'm sorry you're feeling this way. I have some feelings that just won't budge as well. I feel like giving up too. I don't know how to help your situation, but I hear you.
Unfortunately I’m going through something similar. I think treating the root causes of DPDR will help it fade away. So focusing on improving anxiety and depression. It’s really hard, I deal with it too. Have you talked to a therapist? Also if you don’t mind me asking, do you know what triggered it?
I’ve also heard acknowledging it, not judging it or panicking about it and just leaving the feeling helps. If you give attention to it (which creates anxiety and discomfort) you will only reinforce the need for dissociation by creating more anxiety.
I’ve been there I remember having no relief at all it is horrible. Have you tried going to a homeopathic? I met with one last week and I just started taking this supplement and he prescribed a few other ones
I’m in an absolutely crippling episode dealing with real event/ false memory. I literally cannot get out of it and it is beyond hell. Can someone please help me with advice? If you have been through this how did you get through?! I’m out of work, the only relief is when I’m sleeping no exaggeration. My husband is being super supportive and Is also taking time off to be with me. Was there a specific medication or any tricks that helped? I’m beyond desperate. Thank you
6 months ago I had a severe panic attack and it’s changed my life. Scared of 99% of foods, can’t take meds out of fear, been hospitalized a few times cause of blood sugar drops and other health scares due to poor eating. I’m constantly scanning my body finding any little thing that’s uncomfortable and then fixate and panic over the smallest things. Whether be a smell I’m unfamiliar with, a weird sensation in my arm literally anything freaks me out….. who has had success with exposure or has dealt with similar issues. I feel like I’m unintentionally slowly killing myself but I’m too scared for meds and therapy doesn’t seem to make much of a dent right now. Please share some success stories I need hope.
Can someone please tell me at what point did you finally accept that it’s OCD? When did the ERP click for you? When did you just stop buying into the lies of OCD and finally let go? Like what does it take. It’s been 2 years of this for me and I’m in ERP currently and it’s just not clicking 😣 is it just me???
